Rehabilitation of road infrastructure in Moinesti Municipality

<h2>Overall Objective</h2>

Rehabilitation of the urban infrastructsure in Moinesti in order to modernize road conditions and pedestrian mobility and enhance the efficiency of human, administrative and business connectivity in the municipality by 2015, while enhancing the attractiveness of the North-East, the quality of life and creating new jobs.

Specific objective

Rehabilitation of the urban infrastructure in Moinesti municipality by rehabilitatting 5341,01 m of urban roads ( Capitan Zaganescu Street – 1306,49 m,  Lucacesti Street – 2912,95 m,  Dobrogeanu Gherea Street – 135 m, Tristan Tzara Street –  501,57 m, Oituz Street – 485 m) and 350,275 m pedestrian steps in  Moinesti, for a period of 21 months, as follows:

  • Reinforcement of asphalt in three layers (Capitan Zaganescu Street, Lucacesti Street) and two layers ( Dobrogeanu Gherea Street, Tristan Tzara Street, Oitu Streetz) over the existing road structure that would withstand existing and future traffic after achieving reinforcement with asphalt, covering the existing holes, fissures and cracks as follows:
    • Capitan Zaganescu Street, road category III,  which consists of a base layer of asphalt mixture AB2 with thickness of 6 cm, a layer of binder BADPC 25, with crushing gravel, a maximum grain size of 25 mm and a thickness of 6 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete BA16, with a maximum grain size of 16 mm in thickness of 5 cm, for three road sections where the road has a length of 167 m, 606 m, 533.49 m
    • Lucacesti Street, road category III,  which consists of a base layer of asphalt mixture AB2 with thickness of 6 cm, a layer of binder BADPC 25, with crushing gravel, a maximum grain size of 25 mm and a thickness of 6 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete BA16, with a maximum grain size of 16 mm in thickness of 5 cm, for three road sections where the road has a length of 300 m, 120 m, 2492,95 m
    • Dobrogeanu Gherea Street, road category III, which consists of a layer of binder BADPC 25, with crushing gravel, a maximum grain size of 25 mm and a thickness of 6 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete BA16, with a maximum grain size of 16 mm in thickness of 4 cm; for a road section.
    • Tristan Tzara Street, road category III, which consists of a layer of binder BADPC 25, with crushing gravel, a maximum grain size of 25 mm and a thickness of 6 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete BA16, with a maximum grain size of 16 mm in thickness of 4 cm;
    • Oituz Street road category III, which consists of a layer of binder BADPC 25, with crushing gravel, a maximum grain size of 25 mm and a thickness of 6 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete BA16, with a maximum grain size of 16 mm in thickness of 4 cm, for two road sections with a length of 156 m and 329 m.
  • Building and rehabilitating pedestrian stairs to normal use standards and increasing its presence in the city’s recreational circuit by keeping the original route of stairs, yet with a regularization by maintaining a constant width of 2.20 m along its entire length, all packages of stairs having steps of 35 cm and countersteps of 16 cm and locally some platforms will be made with a slope of 4.5% to reach top rate of pedestrian surface, demolition and stripping entirely of existing layers, sidewalks, curbs, removing the current hand and waste urban objects, replacing the urban furniture arrangement and creating leisure closed places where the land configuration allows; replace the current hand with a new bridge made of wood
