Consolidation, restoration and conservation of Cesianu House, SMIS 15795

The main objective of the project “Consolidation, restoration and conservation of Cesianu house” consists of the rehabilitation of the historic monument House Cesianu for introduction in the tourism and increasing contribution to the development of tourism and culture in Bucharest-Ilfov region.

The specific objectives of the project “Consolidation, restoration and conservation of Cesianu House” are:

  • Consolidation, restoration, protection and rehabilitation of “Cesianu House”, monument degraded and affected over time;
  • The introduction of “Cesianu House” in the public and tourist domain;
  • Reaching a total of 4,000 tourists / visitors in the first year after the museum opened
  • Creating 5 permanent jobs (women and men – curators, supervisors, maintenance and cleaning personnel, etc.), in the Museum of Bucharest;
  • Maintaining the 20 jobs during the project’s implementation, of which 15 temporary jobs (builders, most men);
  • Ensuring appropriate means to inform and promote the objective and Romanian art by building a tourist information point, utilities and endowments specific annex: parking, advertisements, signs;
  • Ensuring and upgrading the utilities of the tourist attraction to ensure safety conditions regarding fire, burglary and air conditioning;
  • Ensuring a proper interior space for both visitors and with regard to protection of heritage by featuring specific machines and equipment.

The final results finale that are intended to be obtained on completion of the implementation of the project:

  • Cesianu House, historical and cultural heritage object locally, fully restored and consolidated;
  • Cesianu House, ;
  • The identity of Cesianu house in the historical, cultural and architectural in Bucharest is reaffirmed by transforming the house into a target Cesianu representative of attraction cultural, historical and tourism, with a major role in promoting the late nineteenth century architecture;
  • An area of 3170.80 sq consolidated;
  • An area of 1739.03 sq restored;
  • A protected area of 5093.10 sq.m;
  • An area of 4306 sqm designed landscaping;

A designed protective area of 5052 sqm.
